God healed my chronic back pain

I hurt my lower back at work when I was 32. I am 44 now. For twelve years I could not sit through a movie, could not pick my kids up without wincing, could not sleep on my back or my stomach — only one very specific side, with a pillow between my knees. I tried everything: physical therapy, three different specialists, injections twice, a chiropractor for two years straight. Some things helped for a week. Nothing lasted. Two years ago our small group was going around asking each person what they wanted prayer for. When it came to me I almost said "the usual stuff" and passed. Instead I said, "my back." Six people I love laid hands on me and prayed for maybe five minutes. Nothing dramatic happened in the room. I drove home and honestly forgot about it. I woke up the next morning at 6:47 and it took me a full minute to realize what was different. I was flat on my back. No pillow. No pain. I sat up slowly, waiting for the catch — it did not come. I walked around the house crying, not knowing what else to do. Two years later I am still pain-free. I lift my kids. I sleep any way I want. I run again. I do not have theology for why God heals some people and not others — I just know what He did for me, and I am not going to be quiet about it.
