How He is moving
- My mother-in-law before she passed
My mother-in-law was cold to the gospel for 40 years. Two weeks before she died, she asked me to tell her again what I believed. She prayed with me that afternoon.
- Prodigal son came home
My son walked out at 17 and I did not see him for six years. Last Christmas he showed up at the door, apologized for everything, and asked to come to church with us the next Sunday. He now leads worship at a college mini
- Groceries when the fridge was empty
Payday was still three days off and the fridge was bare. A neighbor knocked with a full delivery of groceries. She said she had a strong sense to double what she bought that week and give the second cart to us. She did n
- Free from addiction after 12 years
I was hooked on opioids for over a decade. Rehab after rehab. My family stopped believing me. I ended up at a Christian recovery house I could not really afford, and something broke in me during a worship night three wee
- Wife's tuition covered
My wife went back to nursing school in her forties. Money was going to be tight. Two scholarships we did not apply for landed in her lap. She graduates next spring debt-free.
- Bills covered anonymously
My electric was about to be shut off. Someone paid it that afternoon. I still do not know who. The Lord knows.

What others are asking
The parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) illustrates God's boundless love and forgiveness. A son demands his inheritance, wastes it foolishly, and returns home repentant. His father, full of compassion, welcomes him with open arms, symbolizing God's joy over a sinner who repents (Luke 15:7). This parable shows God's grace and our call to be reconciled with Him.
The Bible often speaks to our anxieties, reminding us of God's care. Jesus teaches us not to worry about tomorrow, for God provides for the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field, and we are of much more value (Matthew 6:25-34). Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you, is also encouraged in 1 Peter 5:7. Trusting in God's sovereign plan brings true peace.
The Holy Spirit is our Helper, Comforter, and Advocate (John 14:26). He convicts of sin, guides into truth, empowers believers for witness, and produces fruit like love, joy, and peace (Galatians 5:22-23).
Philippians 4:6-7 says: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God will guard your hearts and minds. Bring your anxieties to God in prayer and rest in His care.
Jesus was tempted yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). Use Scripture like He did (Matthew 4). Flee when possible (1 Corinthians 6:18). Pray, avoid compromising situations, and rely on the Spirit's power.
Heaven is the presence of God—no more sin, sorrow, or death (Revelation 21:4). Believers will be with Christ forever (1 Thessalonians 4:17). This hope comforts and motivates us to live for Him now.

There have been three break-ins on our street this month. Please pray for safety over our family and for the Lord to expose whoever is doing this.

We moved for my husband's job last spring and I still have not made a real friend here. I go home and cry after church. Please pray for God to bring the right people across my path.

My mom starts her second round of chemo on Monday. The first round left her exhausted and she barely ate for a week. Please pray for less nausea, for strength in her body, and for peace in her heart. She has been so brav
