Rota and volunteer scheduling
Building service rotas, handling swaps, and keeping volunteers within safe limits.
Building a rota
Create an event, define the roles it needs, and assign volunteers. Assignment can be done by hand or suggested automatically from who is available and qualified.
Swaps
A volunteer who cannot make a slot offers it up; another volunteer claims it. Claims are handled one at a time, so two people can never end up holding the same slot.
Guardrails
Weekly caps stop anyone being scheduled too often. Role qualifications can carry an expiry date, and an administrator can grant a temporary override when someone's training lapses close to a service.
Reminders
Volunteers get a reminder before their slot, and can confirm or decline from it.
